Hello and welcome! My name is Petra. I love being creative, and I love math! Color and pattern, beauty and organization, art and function. Over the years I have enjoyed many different crafts including sewing, pottery, furniture reupholstering, jewelry making, painting, crocheting, home remodeling (does that count?); even my job before staying home with my first baby, visual merchandising, involved loads of beautiful product, changing mannequins and displays, and organizing merchandise. But my favorite craft so far is knitting! As a wife and mom of 3 young boys, I love the accessibility of knitting: easily portable, few necessary tools, freedom to step away at a moment's notice. And of course,  knitting is a wonderful blend of the artful and the technical with luscious yarns and clever techniques. I'm excited to share past and present projects of all kinds here!
